“Biomedicinska istraživanja”, a bi-annual journal of Faculty of Medicine Foča, University of East Sarajevo, ISSN 1986 – 8529 (Print) ISSN 1986-8537 (Online) Biomedicinska istraživanja is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that complies with Budapest Open Access Initiative's definition of open access which means that all content is freely available without financial, legal, or technical barriers. The journal publishes original scientific articles, previous and short communications, editorials, review articles, case reports, articles for practitioners, educative articles, comments on papers already published, letters to the editors and other contributions from all areas of medicine, dentistry, special education and rehabilitation and nursing. The primary purpose of the Biomedicinska istraživanja is to provide a platform for physicians, dentists, health care and special education and rehabilitation professionals and researchers from the region and all over the world to promote, share, and discuss their results and various new issues
