Aims & Scope

Revista OBETS is a journal aimed at professionals, researchers, students, faculty, and the general public interested in academic research in the field of Social Sciences. It publishes original academic research results observing the IMRyDC+B structure (introduction, methodology, results and discussion, conclusions, and updated bibliography). The bibliography uses the APA (American Psychological Association) style. Articles in the bibliography include the DOI whenever available. The journal is committed to gender equality policies that lead to real equality between women and men in our society. OBETS recommends the use of inclusive language in scientific articles that takes into account the presence and situation of women in society and is in line with the principle of equality between the sexes. Research papers should avoid gender stereotypes and biases that adopt the masculine as a universal reference, exacerbate biological differences, or naturalize socially constructed differences. Likewise, they should consider the sex variable in any type of research on people, animals, tissues, or cells.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
