Aims & Scope

Business Review - a peer reviewed biannual journal- is the official publication of the Institute of Business Administration Karachi. It is an international journal that publishes refereed papers on both established and emerging aspects of business and economics. It is multidisciplinary, covering a wide range of topics including Accounting, Economics, Banking, Management, Marketing, Finance, Investments, Islamic Banking, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Strategy and Innovation. Its objective is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, making research useful and relevant for decision and policy makers. The journal places strong emphasis on theoretical and empirical studies, evaluation activities, implementation research and ways of improving the practice of business. Business Review readers include academics and practitioners in the field of finance, management science and decision analysis as well as business forecasters, economists and operations researchers.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
