Aims & Scope
The journal «Woman in Russian Society» has been published on the basis of Ivanovo State University since 1996. The journal is published four times per year. Since 2008, the journal has been included by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications in which the main scientific results for the academic degrees of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences should be published. Since 2017, the journal «Woman in Russian Society» has been included in international scientific citation databases. Over the past years, the journal has become one of the Russian centers for the development of methodology and methods for analyzing public policies affecting the interests of women and men in society, in the study of social and demographic policies, management, economics and culture, history and modern problems of the women's movement. The most important objectives of the journal are: To promote the development of research in the area of gender equality in Russian universities. To unite the Russian scientific community in research on the identified issues. To support graduate students and young researchers. The «Scientific Life» section publishes materials from round tables and scientific conferences on current issues of the journal.
