Aims & Scope
The MalawI Medical Journal is a peer reviewed publication of scientific medical research and serves as a forum for sissemination of findings of health research undertaken in Malawi and the globe. It incorporates original research, policy analysis, case reports, literature reviewes and occassional special fetures. To promote idest readership possible the journal articles are available as free full text on our website Our Mission To stimulate dialogue amongst researchers and health professionals in Malawi trough information that will aid daily practice, life long learning and career development. We believe that there is an important role of the MMJ to publish research that is relevant to Malawian context and encourage and stimulate scientific debate among health personell. Driven and guided by the priorities articulated in the Malawi National Health Research Agenda, the Malawi Medical Journal publishes original research, short reports, case reports, viewpoints, insightful editorials and commentaries that are of high quality, informative and applicable to the Malawian and sub-Saharan Africa regions. Our particular interest is to publish evidence-based research that impacts and informs national health policies and medical practice in Malawi and the broader region.
