Aims & Scope
In the Russian Federation, a specialized scientific and practical journal "Clinical Dermatology and Venereology" is published, intended for scientists and practicing dermatovenereologists and specialists in related disciplines (cosmetologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, urologists, oncologists, dentists, pediatricians, laboratory diagnosticians, and specialists in other fields). This peer-reviewed publication was founded in 2002 and holds a confident position as a leading professional platform for publications by Russian scientists and doctors, as well as representatives from near and far abroad. The founder of the journal is the leading professional association of Russia, the National Alliance of Dermatologists and Cosmetologists (NADC, www.nadc.ru). The journal publishes the latest achievements of domestic and world science in the field of diagnosis and treatment of dermatoses and sexually transmitted infections. To achieve this goal, data on modern aspects of etiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation of diseases of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, visible mucous membranes and STIs, new treatment methods and standards, and practical recommendations confirmed by evidence-based medicine are published. Issues of postgraduate training of doctors are covered. A distinctive feature of the journal is the emphasis on publishing clinical observations of rare and atypical dermatoses, sometimes described for the first time, with the opportunity for publication provided to both leading scientists of the country and abroad, as well as young specialists and practicing doctors.
