Valenciana
Universidad de Guanajuato · Mexico · Est. 2008
Aims & Scope
Valenciana is a semiannual journal that publishes academic articles with approaches, debates, and reflections on literature – with special emphasis on Hispanic American studies – and philosophy – classical, modern, and contemporary. It is edited and distributed by the Universidad de Guanajuato, through the departments of Philosophy and Hispanic Letters of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities. Valenciana is aimed at specialized readers, those dedicated to research, and the general university community, both national and foreign, with the objective of contributing to the generation of knowledge in the field of philosophy and literature. The journal includes three sections: a miscellaneous part, with research articles on diverse topics; a dossier, with articles by express invitation of a coordinator of the issue; and reviews. All materials received are submitted to review by two anonymous specialists, in a double-blind system. The final result is notified to the authors within ninety calendar days from the closing date of the call for papers. It should be clarified that interpretations and analyses must be based on a rigorous theoretical and conceptual framework.
