Aims & Scope
The Journal of Comparative Literature (JCL) is an open-access peer-reviewed semiannual journal in Persian (with extended English abstracts and bibliographies) devoted to the fields of Persian language and literature, which contains scientific research and review articles in the areas of comparative literature, world literature, Persian literature, Indo-Iranian languages, national literature, literary forms and genres, history of literature, literary analysis, literary awards, literary property, fiction, linguistics, language structure, literary style, comparative poetry, translation studies, literary criticism, literary works, creative writing, authors and writers, comparing literary issues of Persian with the language and literature of other nations based on the components of comparative literature, and a constant basis of these studies must be Persian language and literature. It is published by the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. The journal aims to publish research and review papers on the most recent issues and developments in the field. All papers are subject to a double-blind reviewing process. The Main Aim Comparing the influence and impact of the Persian language and literature on other nations and vice-versa. Sub-aims 1. Examining and explaining the scientific foundations of comparative literature; 2. Analytical review of the status of comparative literature studies in Iran and different countries of the world; 3- Knowing the theoretical foundations and currents governing trends of comparative literature in Iran and the world; 4. Examining and explaining the similarities and differences of literary works and literary types of Iran and the world; 5. Linguistic and grammatical comparative study of Persian and other languages; 6. Comparative study of schools and literary movements in Iran and the world; 7. Comparative review of literary works of Iran and the world from the point of view of rhetorical sciences; and 8. Comparative review of literary works of Iran and the world from the point of view of stylistics and other methods of literary research.
