Revista CS. Estudios Sociales sobre América Latina tiene como objetivo principal difundir la investigación en ciencias sociales sobre problemas históricos y contemporáneos de América Latina. América Latina incluye a la población latinoamericana que ha emigrado a otros países por distintos motivos, y cuyo estudio es relevante para comprender los problemas latinoamericanos. La revista publica artículos de investigación y revisión, estudios de caso y reseñas de libros en los campos de la sociología, la ciencia política, la antropología, la psicología social, la educación, la historia, y los estudios culturales y de género. Está dirigida a investigadores, estudiantes y otras personas interesadas en los estudios sobre América Latina. Sus contenidos tienen el propósito de contribuir a la construcción de nuevo conocimiento sobre problemas sociales y culturales de América Latina, así como fomentar el debate sobre ellos. Los idiomas de publicación son el español, el inglés y el portugués.
