Aims & Scope
Terminàlia is the scientific journal of the Societat Catalana de Terminologia, a subsidiary society of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. It is published semi-annually (in June and December) since 2009, in print and electronic format. The journal's subject matter revolves around terminology, in a broad sense, and also extends to related fields (neology, lexicology, lexicography, analysis of specialized discourse, specialized translation, history of scientific discourse, teaching of languages for specific purposes, linguistic engineering applied to terminological work, linguistic corpora of specialized content, etc.). The journal's objectives are to become a reference channel for scientific debate and a means of international dissemination of research, training, planning, or technological development activities in terminology and related fields, and to serve as an organ for exchange and expression for various professional profiles linked to terminology.
