Aims & Scope

The aim of the Journal of Accessibility and Design for All is to publish theoretical and empirical articles that contrast and extend existing theories and build new theories that contribute to the understanding of phenomena related to aspects of universal design and equal opportunities for people with disabilities. JACCES includes contributions, but not limited to, in the following fields: (1) Engineering, (2) Architecture and Construction, (3) Health and Medical Care, (4) Education, (5) Society and Economy. The contributions can adopt confirmatory (quantitative) or explanatory (mainly qualitative) methodological approaches. Theoretical essays that enhance the building or extension of theoretical approaches are also welcome.
