Nature Reviews Materials publishes authoritative reviews and perspectives on topics across the spectrum of materials science, covering all aspects from materials design and synthesis to their use in devices and real-life applications. Reviews and perspectives, which are mostly, but not only, commissioned by the editorial team, provide critical, forward-looking overviews of current topics, aiming to bridge the gap between different subfields within materials science and related disciplines like physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering.
