Aims & Scope

About the Journal Political Studies Forum is an annual Open Access Journal, edited by the Department of Political Science at the West University in Timisoara. We publish research articles, especially in connection to Central and Eastern Europe. We also accept essays, book reviews and statements based on a theoretical argumentation. Previous papers focused on the politics of the European Union, political elites, the dynamics of parties in the context of post-communist societies, and security issues. Relaunched in 2020, the journal intends to enlarge its area of analysis and research, by including subjects concerning social movements, the region`s economic policies, social changes and regional development, as well as international law and international development. Manuscripts can be sent for publication throughout the year by using the Information for Authors section. Articles are offered immediate free access to their online content. We do not charge processing or publication fees. Political Studies Forum is an Open Access Journal. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles. The journal holds copyright over published materials.
