Aims & Scope

The NUST Journal of Natural Sciences is a quarterly publication of the National University of Sciences and Technology, publishing 4 issues per year. It aims to provide a peer-reviewed publication for researchers who wish to publish papers of interest to the scientific community. The journal publishes original articles in all areas of natural sciences. Initially, the journal focused on the work carried out in the South Asian region, however, now the journal is accepting articles from the global scientific community working in the field of Natural Sciences. The prime aim is to endorse rapid communication and exchange of information between the world and NUST, reflecting advances in various disciplines of scientific research. The multi-disciplinary nature of this journal is apparent in the extensive range of articles from leading scholars that are published here. The journal also introduces Pakistani academic achievements to the world community, demonstrating the significance of Pakistan’s scientific achievements. Featured topics include, but not limited to virology and immunology, molecular biology and genetics, vaccinology, biochemistry, pharmacology, environmental science Genomics, and Bioinformatics, and interdisciplinary research.
