Aims & Scope

The journal "Vegetation of Russia" is a specialized domestic geobotanical periodical, publishing original articles, reviews, theoretical articles, and short notes on the problems of vegetation in Russia and adjacent countries. The journal prints materials on the characteristics of vegetation of specific territories, as well as syntaxa of different levels, articles on general issues of geobotany, biogeography and phytocenology (the entire complex of vegetation sciences), on the theory and methodology of research, on issues of classification, typology and geography of vegetation and its history, reviews of new literature, information on programs and meetings, on the activities of institutions, public organizations and individual specialists in Russia and abroad.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
