Aims & Scope

Prisma Tecnológico is a general technological-scientific dissemination journal, whose articles or essays must have a scientific character, form and level, but also maintain a profile and writing style that allows them to be read and be of interest to a general audience, of people interested in technology and science. The articles are not of the type of a highly specialized or theoretical scientific journal. The journal is aimed at professionals in the technological area, university students in technological careers, university professors, researchers, and the general public. PRISMA Tecnológico is a journal open to all interested in publishing, meaning that the authors of the articles do not have to be members of the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. Furthermore, works, particularly from undergraduate and postgraduate university students with the guidance and collaboration of a tutor professor, are welcome. Any technical-scientific contribution related to any area of engineering in its multiple disciplines is, in principle, likely to be published in PRISMA Tecnológico.
