Aims & Scope
Economic and Regional Studies / Studia Ekonomiczne i Regionalne" is an international journal that publishes multi and interdisciplinary research results and the policy analysis from broad regions worldwide. The main mission of the journal is to broaden theoretical knowledge, contribute to the policy debates and disseminate results of empirical research across a wide range of economic and social sciences, including: Economics and Finance Business Economics and Management Public Economics and Policy Industrial Organization Socio-economic Geography Rural/Urban and Regional Development The mission of the journal Economic and Regional Studies/Studia Ekonomiczne i Regionalne , as a scientific periodical of a university in Eastern Poland with an international scope, is to publish the results of scientific research carried out in Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Hungary, as well as in other countries of Central and Eastern Europe (Kosovo, Macedonia) and in other emerging countries in various regions of the world, in order to enrich the knowledge of economic and social problems and development factors of peripheral, less developed and cross-border regions, which can be used in the development programmes of Poland, including the Eastern regions. The journal provides information on general and sectoral economic problems, practices and policies, on contemporary and historical development in these disciplines from local, regional, national, European and global perspectives. The journal welcomes original research results as well as for overview and review articles, reports an surveys, policy debates, announcements of research and conference results, case studies and other scientific publications.
