Aims & Scope

Komuniti : Journal of Communication and Information Technology is a scholarly journal managed by the Communication Studies Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. It is committed to presenting up-to-date, insightful, and impactful research that contributes significantly to the development of communication studies across diverse fields. The journal serves as a platform for academics and practitioners to engage with theoretical and empirical work that deepens the understanding of communication processes in various human contexts. Recognizing the centrality of media in message delivery, Komuniti publishes manuscripts that explore, analyze, and explain the processes, causes, and effects of communication in everyday life.
