Aims & Scope

JOSI is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research papers, technical papers, conceptual papers, and case study reports in the field of industrial engineering and systems optimization. We publish research that advances industrial systems and engineering, with a primary focus on optimizing soft systems (human, organizational, and managerial aspects) and hard systems research that supports soft systems optimization. Key areas include Production Planning, Ergonomics, Multicriteria Decision Making, Product Design, Supply Chain Management, Optimization and Mathematical Modelling, Information Systems, and Human Resource Development, among others.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
