International Soil and Water Conservation Research (ISWCR) is co-owned by three organizations: The International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES), China Water & Power Press (CWPP), and China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR). IRTCES, as a UNESCO category II center for water issues, aims to promote international exchange of knowledge and cooperative research into sedimentation problems. It also provides technical services in sediment information exchange, training on sediment engineering and consultations on sediment management, erosion control and environmental and ecological protection of watersheds. CWPP is a national professional science and technology publishing house with a focus on water conservancy and hydropower. CWPP publishes around 1,500 publications in a range of disciplines each year, including paper books, audiobooks, journals and videos. IWHR is a national, non-profit research institution engaged in scientific research on water resources and hydropower.
