Aims & Scope

Journal of Light Industry(CN 41-1437/TS, ISSN 2096-1553) is an academic journal with significant influence in China's light industry, administered by the Education Department of Henan Province and sponsored by Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. Founded in 1986, the journal was originally namedJournal of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, and was renamed toJournal of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (Natural Science)in 2012. It was further renamed toJournal of Light Industryin 2016. The journal is currently published bimonthly, with the print version published on the 15th of every even month, and the online version available 5-10 days in advance. The journal regularly reports on the latest scientific and technological research achievements related to light industry at home and abroad. It aims to promote the integration of industry and research, disseminate research achievements, enhance academic exchanges, stimulate innovation, and promote socio-economic prosperity. The journal primarily features pioneering research in the fields of food science and engineering, tobacco science and engineering, and other cognate fields within the light industry. Our core readership comprises academic researchers, university faculty and students, professional engineers and technicians, and managerial staff in pertinent disciplines. The journal has been selected as a Chinese Core Journal by Peking University (2020 & 2023 Editions) and a Source Journal for Science Citation Database (SCD).
