Aims & Scope
ADAM ACADEMY Journal of Social Sciences, established in 2011, is an international scholarly journal employing a double-blind peer-review process. It publishes original research articles, review essays, and book reviews. The journal is issued biannually, with one volume comprising two issues released in April, August, and December. Submissions are accepted in both English and Turkish. ADAM ACADEMY Journal of Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, and interdisciplinary academic journal established in 2011. The journal focuses on the Ottoman world and its geography, with particular attention to studies in history, political science, economics, sociology, philosophy, international relations, environment, and development. Articles are expected to address past, present, and future issues of societies within the Ottoman geography and to contribute original perspectives on their contemporary and prospective challenges. The journal publishes original research articles, review essays, and book reviews that advance knowledge or offer new interpretations of existing scholarship. Submissions must be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere; however, papers previously presented at academic conferences may be considered if clearly indicated. ADAM ACADEMY provides an international platform for the dissemination and discussion of research on societies linked to the Ottoman geography. It is committed to promoting high-quality international and interdisciplinary scholarship, encouraging the exchange of research findings, and fostering collaboration and joint publications among scholars. The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. It is published triannually, with issues released in April, August, and December, constituting one annual volume. Articles are accepted in both English and Turkish.
