Aims & Scope
Aging and Disease (A&D; Aging Dis) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing novel and high-impact findings on key issues related to the biology of aging, the pathophysiology of age-related diseases, and innovative therapies targeting conditions that affect the aging population. Published by the International Society on Aging and Disease (ISOAD, www.isoad.org), the journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, clinicians, scholars, and public health professionals to share original and creative work exploring the intricate interplay between aging processes and age-related diseases. The journal publishes original research articles, short communications, reviews, perspectives, opinions, commentaries, and clinical studies on a wide range of aging and aging-related topics, including neurodegeneration (such as Alzheimer's disease), cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndromes (such as diabetes), cancer, osteoporosis, and immune dysfunction. Our mission is to advance scientific discovery and promote evidence-informed interventions—not only to extend lifespan, but to ensure healthier aging.
