It explores how religious narratives, ideologies, and cultural artifacts are used to legitimize, mobilize, and sustain violence, as well as the psychological and cultural mechanisms that process and contain violence. The journal also investigates the targeting of religious sites and the dynamics of religiously motivated conflicts and extremism.
