Journal of Law and Religion
Cambridge University Press · United Kingdom · Est. 1969
Aims & Scope
The Journal of Law and Religion is dedicated to the scholarly exploration of the complex and evolving relationship between law and religion. It publishes original research that examines legal issues arising from religious beliefs, practices, and institutions, as well as the ways in which law shapes and regulates religious life. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary approaches, drawing on legal studies, theology, philosophy, history, sociology, and other relevant fields. We aim to foster a robust intellectual dialogue on topics such as religious freedom, church-state relations, the legal status of religious organizations, the impact of religious law on secular legal systems, and the ethical dimensions of law and religion.
