Aims & Scope
GEOGACETA is a scientific journal with a semiannual frequency, published by the Geological Society of Spain (SGE), which publishes short articles, in both Spanish and English, since 1986. All articles published in GEOGACETA have been previously presented at a biannual Scientific Session, organized by the SGE. GEOGACETA is a journal that publishes short articles of four pages, original and unpublished research work on any field of Earth Sciences, and particularly Geology. The articles published in GEOGACETA are characterized by showing the latest scientific advances in subjects related to Earth Sciences, presenting original data corresponding to field observations, data elaborated in the office, experimental data (obtained in the laboratory and/or field), analog and mathematical modeling, and all this at different scales of observation. The articles published in GEOGACETA, in addition to being evaluated through a “peer review”, have been presented at one of the two Scientific Sessions that the Geological Society of Spain organizes each year to promote, foster and disseminate research.
