To provide a space for the dissemination of research results on population issues, as well as a space to promote comparative studies in the region. To amplify proposals for a population agenda for Latin America, both for research and for action in demographic policy. Transdisciplinary analysis has proven to be one of the most fruitful methods, as it allows us to recover contributions from different traditions and disciplines in the social sciences. Therefore, our intention is for RELAP to become a dissemination space that collects and presents the contributions of various scholars who, from their own fields, are interested in population problems. Demographic problems are of great importance.
