Aims & Scope

Nanotechnology Reviews ( NTREV ) is an open access journal that aims to disseminate research across all fundamental and applied aspects of science and engineering at the nano scale. With a strong focus on recent advances in nanotechnology and nanomaterials, such as for applications in energy and biomaterials, the journal also encourages interdisciplinary research combining nanotechnology and composite technology. NTREV invites research articles, review articles, commentaries, rapid communications, and letters to the Editor. For more information, please refer to the Instructions for Authors in the Supplementary Materials. Papers that fall outside the journal's scope but that may have significant future contributions to nanotechnology and/or nanomaterials may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Such topics could include bio-inspired/soft materials, 3D/4D printing, molecular dynamics/multi-scale modelling, imaging, batteries, graphene/carbon nanotubes, and nano mechanics.
