Metallography, Microstructure, and Analysis
Springer Science + Business Media · United States · Est. 2012
Aims & Scope
Metallography, Microstructure, and Analysis (MMA) focuses on the art and science of preparing, interpreting, and analyzing microstructures in engineered materials to better understand materials behavior and performance. MMA covers the methods of evaluation of microstructures in engineered materials for use in a wide range of applications. Coverage includes new techniques which help examine, interpret, and analyze microstructures and microstructural properties in metals, alloys, and ceramics. Journal content examines how microstructure is influenced by factors including thermal and mechanical processing, environmental degradation, and joining and welding. MMA examines the ways in which microstructure is influenced by tribological interactions, additive manufacturing, and more. Readers may submit guesses to identify the Mystery Micrograph in every issue.
