Aims & Scope
Landbauforschung – Journal of Sustainable and Organic Agriculture is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary Open Access journal with a focus on new developments towards sustainable agriculture. The scope encompasses any aspect of plant production for food, feed and fuel; plant-based raw materials for medical applications, textiles, construction works and further chemical processing; while also addressing and aiming to overcome problems such as biodiversity loss, soil degradation, water shortage, environmental pollution, deforestation, global warming and many more. Submissions on interlinked topics are welcome, such as animal husbandry, circular production systems, technical advances, economic aspects, political and legal frameworks and social challenges like contrasting needs of stakeholders such as producers, consumers and future generations.
