Aims & Scope
Preservation, Digital Technology & Culture (PDT&C) is an international refereed journal of high scholarly standing that focuses on matters relating to the intersection of preservation and digital technology. Its scope is global, covering projects and practices of digital content preservation and curation from a wide variety of perspectives, including technological, social, economic, political, and user-centered viewpoints. The intended audiences for PDT&C are researchers, information specialists, educators, librarians, archivists, curators, and other cultural heritage professionals. The goal of the journal is to provide a timely forum for refereed articles, news, and field notes from around the world. In addition to featured refereed articles, PDT&C publishes news, commentaries, and posiion papers aligned with the journal’s objective. Further contributions include invited articles, editorials, and reviews of books, databases, and websites. High-quality col or illustrations add to thei nformative value of the content. All articles undergo a double-blind peer review process with at least two external peer reviewers.
