Aims & Scope
Diálogos: Revista Electrónica de Historia is a publication with a semiannual periodicity in continuous modality (On-Line First Publication), from the Center for Historical Research of Central America - CIHAC, of the University of Costa Rica that has the support of the School of History, and specializes in scientific historical research. It aims to reach Central American and Central Americanist researchers from the different branches of History. Its objective is to generate an innovative role by providing all its reading public with databases and unpublished sources, as well as promoting Costa Rican, Central American, Latin American historiography and the so-called universal history, in addition to promoting diverse areas of historiography such as gender, local, science, and ecology, through the discussion and analysis of trajectories from different theoretical and methodological perspectives. Its philosophy is within the "Open Access" current, which provides free and immediate access to its content under the principle of making research freely available to the public, which fosters greater global knowledge exchange.
