Ciencia Amazónica (Iquitos) is a publication sponsored by the Vice-Rectorate of Research and Innovation of the Universidad Científica del Perú, which publishes results of original scientific research, basic or applied, related to the Amazon and the rest of Latin America. The journal seeks to contribute to the dissemination of new scientific knowledge produced in the field of biological and health sciences (not medicine) in Latin America. It is aimed at professionals, researchers, teachers, students, companies, leaders and other people interested in science and humanistic development.
