South African Journal of Economic and Management Sciences
AOSIS (Pty) Ltd · South Africa · Est. 1988
Aims & Scope
The South African Journal of Economic and Management Sciences (SAJEMS) aims to be a global leader in interdisciplinary research in the economic and management sciences. The journal publishes and disseminates high-quality academic articles that contribute to the better understanding of the interaction between economic, environmental and social perspectives as applicable to the broader management sciences in a global environment. The editorial board invites authors to submit their research from areas such as accounting, economics, finance, future studies, human capital, management, marketing, and other related disciplines that break down common intellectual silos and prepares a new path for debate on the operation and development of sustainable markets and organisations as relevant to the broader global context. Foresight and thought leadership articles are also welcome, provided that they are grounded in theories from the above-mentioned areas and disciplines. The journal encourages submissions from all geographical locations; however, the content must be relevant to readership across the African continent and emphasise implications for various stakeholder groups. While single-country studies from all geographical locations are welcome, they must make a substantial contribution to the literature and the readership of the journal.
