Aims & Scope

The journal Journal of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Series Physics publishes articles containing the results of fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of experimental and theoretical physics, as well as analytical reviews of literary sources on various current problems of physics on the topic of the publication, articles on physics teaching methods and physical experiment methods. In addition to the main scientific section, the journal also has the sections Physics Teaching Methods and Physics: Events and Names . All areas of modern theoretical and applied physics are reflected on the pages of our publication. The traditional sections are: - Theoretical physics; - Solid state physics; - Physics of low temperatures; - Physics of magnetic phenomena; - Optics and spectroscopy; - General issues of physics, including: methodology and history of physics, mathematical methods of physical research, methods of teaching physics in higher education, techniques and methods of physical experiments, etc. The journal is intended for specialists in the specified fields of science, employees of higher educational institutions, scientific institutions, as well as postgraduate students, doctoral students, seekers of scientific degrees and academic titles. The Bulletin will be useful for physics teachers and students. The purpose of the journal is to highlight the current results of fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of physics, aimed at deepening the understanding of physical processes, the structure and physical properties of matter, promoting the development of scientific thought, disseminating new theoretical and experimental approaches, ensuring effective scientific communication between researchers, as well as popularizing science. Journal tasks – promoting the dissemination of the latest scientific information among domestic specialists in the field of physics, wider familiarization of representatives of scientific schools from near and far abroad with the results of modern scientific research, integration of domestic scientists into the international scientific community, dissemination of information about the main directions and results of modern research in the field of physics teaching methods and physical experiment methods, familiarization of a wide range of readers with outstanding personalities and events in the history of physics.
