Aims & Scope
The overall scope of the journal is to publish papers on a wide range of studies in applied and environmental mycology. The main research areas include; Applied mycology (agriculture, plant pathology, medicine, biotechnology, food science, bio-economy approaches ) Environmental mycology (principles and mechanisms of adaptations to different terrestrial or aquatic habitats, role in nutrient cycling, soil formation, ecosystem functioning and degradation of materials) Fungal diversity and evolution (systematics, taxonomy, molecular phylogeny, checklists, omics) Fungal ecology (epidemiology, pathology, interactions and symbiosis, succession) Fungal biology (cell biology, biochemistry, physiology) Fungal metabolites and toxins (natural antibiotics, antimycotics, and other fungal secondary metabolites)
