Aims & Scope
Annales Kinesiologiae is an international interdisciplinary journal covering kinesiology and its related areas. It combines fields and topics directed towards the study research of human movement, physical activity, exercise and sport in the context of human life style and influences of specific environments. The basic aim and the underlying editorial concept of the journal Annales Kinesiologiae is to publish articles that investigate kinesiologic issues and deepen the existing knowledge to provide results that will improve the quality of life. The mission of the journal is to promote the applicative nature of kinesiologic research and to enhance the practical value of its results by disseminating relevant scientific findings and arguments. The journal publishes original scientific articles, technical notes and reports. The Annales Kinesiologiae Journal is a scientific journal focused on publishing scientific findings from the integrative field of kinesiology as well as the related natural and social sciences. Kinesiology is quite a new scientific research field in Slovenia as well as in other parts of the world. It involves a specific integration of several natural and social sciences and results from human nature, because man is involved in motor and sport activities within their living environment. This nature is so diverse and complicated that cannot be completely managed and explained by a single science. Kinesiology includes and considers issues and topics related to the study of human organism in interaction with the environment and impacted by motor and sport activities factors. The purpose of the journal is examination and deepening of the knowledge in the field of kinesiology to achieve a better quality of life. With the help of the research results, studies as well as scientific findings and arguments presented, we at the Journal want to promote the usefulness of kinesiology research and to enrich its practical value and results in practice.
