Aims & Scope

About the Journal Focus and Scope Annales Kinesiologiae is an international, interdisciplinary journal covering kinesiology and related fields. It brings together topics focused on the study and research of human movement, physical activity, exercise, and sport within the context of human lifestyle and the influence of specific environments. The primary aim and editorial concept of Annales Kinesiologiae is to publish articles that investigate kinesiologic issues and deepen existing knowledge to provide results that improve quality of life. The journal’s mission is to promote the applied nature of kinesiologic research and enhance the practical value of its results by disseminating relevant scientific findings and arguments. The journal publishes original scientific articles, review articles, technical notes, and reports. Peer Review Process Each manuscript, meeting the technical standards and falling within the aims and scope of the journal, will be subjected to a double-blind peer-review. Authors can propose up to two reviewers for revision of their work and up to two reviewers they would like to avoid. The referees are chosen by the Editors. Assessments by the referees will be presented anonymously to the author and will be returned to the author for correction. The corrected copy of the manuscript, with the list of corrections on a separate page, should be returned to the responsible Editor. Open Access Policy This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
