Aims & Scope

Clinical Endoscopy (Clin Endosc, CE) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to help researchers, technicians, and physicians stay updated on the latest advances in experimental, diagnostic, and therapeutic endoscopic techniques for gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary disorders. CE publishes original articles, review articles, images of issue, videos of issue, brief communications, guidelines, and letters to the editor on all subjects in the field of experimental, diagnostic, and therapeutic endoscopy, including novel advances in image-enhanced endoscopy, green endoscopy and artificial intelligence-aided detection and therapy. In addition, editorials explore challenging issues and encourage constructive debates on gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary diseases. CE also publishes special issues featuring articles on the endoscopic management of obesity. Currently, CE is the joint official journal of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (KSGE), International Digestive Endoscopy Network (IDEN), Vietnam Association of Gastroenterology (VNAGE)/Vietnam Federation for Digestive Endoscopy (VFDE), Thai Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (TAGE), and Digestive Endoscopy Society of Taiwan (DEST). Therefore, CE introduces and disseminates country-specific guidelines and updated endoscopy-related knowledge in East and Southeast Asia.
