Aims & Scope
The Journal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science(JEES) is an official English-language journal of the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES). This journal was launched in 2001 and has been published bimonthly since 2021. It is currently registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea and also indexed in Scopus, CrossRef, EBSCO, DOI/Crossref, Google Scholar, and Web of Science Core Collection as Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) journal. The objective ofJEESis to publish academic as well as industrial research results and discoveries in electromagnetic engineering and science. The particular scope ofJEESincludes electromagnetic field theory and its applications; Antenna theory and designElectromagnetic and wireless applicationsElectromagnetic wave environmentsHigh-frequency components, circuits, and systems Radars and remote sensingIn addition to the regular stream of contributed papers,JEESoccasionally publishes special issues on specific topics of current interest, to promote a focused coverage of the selected topics. In addition,JEESregularly posts invited review papers by leading researchers in the relevant fields, which will provide an overview of various subjects from their own perspectives. The editors ofJEESare aware of the importance of rapid publication for the delivery of new research results to its readers with minimum delay, and fully recognize the need for a short turnaround time. The average time from submission to the first decision is around 45 days. This rapid process applies to all three types of manuscripts thatJEESpublishes: regular papers, letters, and invited papers. The publication of submitted manuscripts is subject to double-blind peer review, and the final decision by the Editor-in-Chief is regularly made based on three reviews from experts in the relevant area.
