PhiloBiblon is a free internet-based bio-bibliographical database of texts written in the various Romance vernaculars of the Iberian Peninsula during the Middle Ages and the early Renaissance. It consists of four separate bibliographies: BETA (Medieval texts in Spanish), BIPA (Golden Age Poetry in Spanish), BITAGAP (Medieval texts in Galician, Galician-Portuguese, and Portuguese), and BITECA (Medieval texts in Catalan). The database catalogs primary sources (manuscript and printed), the texts they contain, the individuals involved in their production and transmission, and the libraries holding them, along with relevant secondary references and authority files.
