Aims & Scope

Innovar is an academic research journal, published quarterly, of an international nature, peer-reviewed and indexed, open access, edited and financed since 1991 by the School of Public Administration and Accounting of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Colombia. Its objective is to disseminate academic production in the disciplinary fields of management and accounting, as well as social sciences that have some implication in the study of organizations, from diverse epistemological and methodological positions. Innovar publishes research, reflection, and review articles, as well as reviews of books, journals, and other relevant specialized literature for the disciplinary fields of its interest. It publishes original and unpublished works, in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French. Its target audience consists mainly of researchers, professors, students, and practitioners from various disciplines interested in contemporary advances in the academic literature of interest to the journal. Innovar hopes to contribute to the disciplinary fields in which it focuses, serving as a channel for dissemination and interaction among the Hispanic, Anglo, Luso, and Francophone communities.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
