Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series D is a peer-reviewed journal disseminating scientific knowledge on practical engineering and design methodologies. Focuses on metallurgical & materials and mining engineering. Publishes original, unpublished manuscripts in areas including material science, composite structures, mine safety, and mining machineries. Covers the latest research and developmental works in the field of metal matrix, nano materials, bio material, and networking technologies in mines. Formed by The Institution of Engineers (India), the largest professional body of Engineers established in 1920. Part of a series of journals aiming to keep its members abreast in various areas of Engineering and Technology.
