Human and Information: Human-computer interaction; Information seeking behavior; User experience and interface; Literacy (information, digital, content, and media). 4. Technology and Information: Information and knowledge management systems; Intelligent and recommender systems; Search systems; Platform architectures; Security; Internet of Things; E-business; Knowledge discovery; Content management; Big data analysis. 5. Other new fields, topics, and technologies in processing and managing scientific and technological information and knowledge.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
