Review of Communication Research
Review of Communication Research · Spain · Est. 2013
Aims & Scope
Review of Communication Research publishes comprehensive and authoritative reviews of the current state of the main topics and the most significant developments in the field of Communication. These comprehensive critical reviews summarize the latest advances in the field, but also root out errors and will provoke intellectual discussions among scholars. The journal seeks both evaluative (theoretical literature reviews, systematic reviews) and quantitative (meta-analyses) papers that make a state of the art of issues in scientific communication. Integrative review articles that connect different areas of research are of special interest. We do not publish empirical articles. The journal does not publish scope-local articles (e.g., focused on a specific country like Peru, Korea, or Australia). If a manuscript limits its focus geographically, it is expected to focus on a global region (e.g., South Asia, Europe, South America) or countries with a large population (e.g., USA, China).
