Aims & Scope

Lingue Culture Mediazioni / Languages Cultures Mediation,edited by the Department of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Mediations of Università degli Studi di Milano, is a peer-reviewed open-access journal which aims to investigate the linguistic and cultural phenomena characterising the contemporary world, and explore them in the context of the highly intricate web of historical, geographical, social and legal factors in which they are set.The journal presents cutting edge research studies conducted in various disciplinary areas - linguistics, cultural and literary studies, translation and interpreting studies, history, geography, anthropology, sociology, law - which all contribute to shedding new light on the processes of contamination, hybridization and globalization under way in contemporary society, as well as on the dynamics of communication and mediation underlying them.This journal does not charge APCs or submission charges.Lingue Culture Mediazioni / Languages Cultures Mediation,pubblicata a cura del Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature, Culture e Mediazioni dell’Università degli Studi di Milano, è una rivista open access che si propone di indagare i fenomeni linguistici e culturali propri del mondo contemporaneo nel contesto delle fitte reti di fattori storici, geografici, sociali e giuridici ad essi sottostanti.Le ricerche e gli approfondimenti scientifici condotti nell'ambito delle singole discipline – la linguistica, gli studi culturali e letterari, la traduttologia, l’italianistica, la storia, la geografia, l’antropologia, la sociologia, il diritto – contribuiscono così all’esplorazione dei processi di contaminazione, ibridazione e globalizzazione in atto nelle società e negli spazi contemporanei, allargando l’indagine alle dinamiche e agli strumenti della comunicazione e della mediazione.Questa Rivista non applica costi di submission e di pubblicazione.
