Aims & Scope

Lentera Pustaka: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Perpustakaan, Informasi, dan Kearsipan focuses on publishing high-quality research in Library and Information Science with four integrated thematic pillars: Information Behaviour and Information Literacy Research exploring how individuals and communities seek, evaluate, use, and create information in physical and digital environments. Library and Information Management Studies on library operations, service innovation, community engagement, knowledge services, and evidence-based library practice. Digital Libraries, Open Access, and Scholarly Communication Works addressing institutional repositories, digital preservation, metadata and information organization, open-access practices, and emerging trends such as AI, data services, and virtual library environments. Archival Science and Records Management Research on archival systems, digital records, records lifecycle management, archival policy, and the use of technology in preserving collective memory. The journal aims to advance scholarly discourse and professional practice in LIS by publishing rigorous, original studies that contribute theoretical insight, methodological innovation, or applied value to the information field.
