Aims & Scope

Placentum: Jurnal Kesehatan dan Aplikasinyais a health applied journal published by Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. The journal publishes original research articles or review articles in Maternal and Child Health, Health Promotion, and Epidemiology.Maternal and Child Health: covers a broad range of disciplines including obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive health, pediatrics, neonatology, nutrition, and family planningHealth Promotion: covers a broad range of topics in psychology, sociology, anthropology, communication, education, nursing, public health, and the allied health profession, as they are related to health promotion, health education, health-related behavior, and illness.Epidemiology: covers all aspects ofepidemiology and public health. The journal mainlypublishes original research articles but also welcomes reviews covering applied, methodological and theoretical issues with an emphasis on studies using multidisciplinary or integrative approaches. Placentum: Jurnal Kesehatan dan Aplikasinyais a health applied journal published by Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. The journal publishes original research articles or review articles in Maternal and Child Health, Health Promotion, and Epidemiology. The articles submitted to Placentum: Jurnal Kesehatan dan Aplikasinya will be processed through a formatting review by the editor and a substantial review by a minimum two independent reviewers. The reviewing process is conducted by the double blind review. The reviewers are chosen by a section editor. The decision regarding article publication is based on the review result. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
