Aims & Scope
Psiquemag is a scientific journal at the intersection of Social Sciences and Humanities and Medicine, dedicated to advancing understanding and innovation in the fields of Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Developmental and Educational Psychology, as well as Psychiatry and Mental Health. Our mission is to provide a platform for rigorous research, critical discourse, and practical insights that contribute to the improvement of psychological and psychiatric practices and the well-being of individuals and communities. With a commitment to excellence and intellectual rigor, Psiquemag publishes original research articles, reviews, and clinical case studies that address a wide range of topics within its thematic scope. Our journal serves as a vital hub for academics, researchers, clinicians, educators, and policymakers to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and collaborate on interdisciplinary approaches to psychological and psychiatric issues. Psiquemag accepts works that explore, among others, the following thematic areas: Applied Psychology: Research on the practical application of psychological theories and methodologies in various settings, such as clinical practice, organizational settings, and community interventions. Clinical Psychology: Examining the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders, including therapeutic approaches, psychotherapy techniques, and outcome evaluation. Developmental and Educational Psychology: Exploration of psychological development throughout the lifespan, including childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, as well as educational interventions and learning processes. Psychiatry and Mental Health: Addresses topics related to psychiatric disorders, mental health promotion, prevention strategies, psychopharmacology, and the integration of biological and psychosocial perspectives in mental health care. Psiquemag employs a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the works published. We are committed to open access publishing, making academic research accessible to a global audience. Although articles are primarily published in English, contributions in Spanish are also accepted, with translation services available upon acceptance. Psiquemag, published semi-annually online, facilitates efficient review processes, thereby advancing the dissemination of academic knowledge across borders and disciplines. We invite researchers, practitioners, and those interested in the fields of psychology and psychiatry to contribute to our vibrant intellectual community and engage in meaningful dialogue that enhances the understanding and treatment of psychological and psychiatric issues.
