Журнал публикует материалы, освещающие современные проблемы организационной психологии, способствует их широкому распространению и развитию данной области знания в целом. Журнал стремится обеспечить бóльшую интеграцию отечественных организационных психологов в мировое профессиональное сообщество. В рамках журнала планируется работа по подготовке и публикации новых переводов наиболее важных, программных статей и глав книг зарубежных специалистов в этой области. Журнал призван обеспечить призван тесное взаимодействие научных и практикующих организационных психологов, способствует внедрению новых научных и прикладных разработок в практику работы с организациями. Здесь публикуются как научные статьи, так и статьи, целевой аудиторией которых будут прежде всего психологи-практики, работающие с организациями. Журнал публикует тексты как уже известных и авторитетных, так и молодых авторов. В каждом номере в разделе «Первые шаги» будут публикуются статьи молодых коллег, только начинающих свою профессиональную деятельность в области организационной психологии. Однако уровень и качество этих публикаций не должны уступать другим текстам, размещаемым в журнале. Журнал соблюдает стандартные издательские требования. Журнал «Организационная психология» – официально зарегистрированное, полнометражное издание, проходящее через полный редакторско-корректорский цикл. В нем публикуются только полноценные, полностью завершенные тексты.
