Aims & Scope

Molecular medicine is a rapidly expanding field that has revolutionized our understanding of the pathophysiology of diseases. This field has grown to encompass researchers with backgrounds in many diverse fields, including pathology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, clinical medicine, and molecular epidemiology. Important contributions to this field have come from working with populations, patients, animal models, and in vitro systems. The application of research involving gene technology, gene therapy, Immunological aspects of diseases, molecular structural analysis, molecular epidemiology and molecular and clinical pharmacology, pathology, and Microbial pathogenesis has made unprecedented progress and precision possible in the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human diseases. Therefore, these areas of molecular medicine will be given particular attention by the editorial board of Research in Molecular Medicine (RMM). The Research in Molecular Medicine (RMM) is an internationally disseminated peer-reviewed quaternary publication compiled by the Molecular and Cell Biology Research Center (MCBRC), Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, Sari, IR Iran. This journal was approved by the Iranian Committee of Medical Science Journals of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, according to certificate number 169750, on 26 March 2012, as a scientific research medical journal. RMM will bring together work focusing on common pathogenic processes and provide a forum for integrative reviews and commentaries on this field. RMM will cover studies related to clinical and experimental original papers, review articles and correspondence of the highest quality pertinent to all aspects of human biology and pathophysiology. RMM is committed to providing an efficient service for both authors and readers and exists to facilitate the rapid peer review and publication of research. With the support of internal and external Editorial Boards and a streamlined peer-review system, all papers are rapidly and fairly peer-reviewed to ensure they are technically sound.
